i just found 1988-D 1c Reverse of 1989. now I want to get my coin in this little plastic bag just like the pic below. how do I do it and how much does it cost?
I don't know who much a coin like that is worth, depending upon the grade of it, but you'll want to look at that too, before slabbing it.
There are several companies that slab too. PCGS, NGC, and ANACS are just three of them. They all have their own web sites of them and they list the price to get them graded and attributed.
I believe what you are asking is how do you get a coin graded and inserted in a NGC slab (not a plastic bag) For NGC you have to join collectors society as a paid member and then you get submission privileges, or you can go to an authorized dealer and have them submit the coin for you (would be cheaper if all you have is one coin to submit) the only down fall is you will have to find a dealer that is willing to send it in for you and I do not have any in my area myself.
On another note, these slabs are hard plastic and sealed so the coin will not be able to come out unless you destroy the slab which in turn will make it pointless to even submit it for grading and encapsulation
