I know there was a national bank in Monroe, LA that issued banknotes.

@CalzoneManiac, I did a quick check and there were actually six different national banks (by charter number) which issued banknotes in Monroe, LA. Two have no known surviving examples, two have just a single note in the census, one has 6 notes plus two uncut sheets of 6, and one has 28 notes in the census.

The bank had some twos last week. Here are some of the more spectacular ones. How did I do?

What an assortment @Ynnad. It reminds me of a word that's actually a mashup of two words, Fugly.

Not exactly an acquisition but got this one in change today and looks like it might be one of those wet ink transfers I've heard about but never actually seen in person, so I decided to hang on to it :)

I just managed to fill the last major hole in my small-size FRN type set. Well, I actually have two more - the $5000 and $10,000 - but unless I win the lottery those two will remain unfilled! I purchased this LGS 1934 $1000 FRN Monday night and received it this afternoon. I wanted a nice-looking problem-free XF or AU example, and this one checked all the boxes for me.
