Just found this:

2011-Shield-Cent-DDO-1-DO-004

2011-Shield-Cent-DDO-1-DO-004

2011-Shield-Cent-DDO-1-DO-004

2011-Shield-Cent-DDO-1-DO-004

It's a nice one, so here's hoping a bunch entered circulation in my area and I find more, maybe one in an earlier die state. It was easy to attribute with the weirdly shaped "S" in "TRUST" and very easy markers.

Nice find!

I found two of those in the past month; had not gotten around to posting photos yet. Now I'm checking all of my 2012's...would love to be the first to find a nice new DDO.

It does seem like it's a common one, but it's bold enough to spot with the naked eye. I look at the listings on coppercoins.com and whatnot when I'm searching, and with some of the minor ones I wonder if they're even worth keeping.

I think they are worth keeping at least for now. It only cost one cent and maybe in the near future it may be worth a premium, if not spend it as a cent.

Nice find!

I'd save all of the minor DD, because now is the time to find them when there are in MS condition. The price on a MS65 minor DD should go up as the zincs age in circulation.
