Off Center One Dollar Note Question

tomchad Valued Member United States 63 Posts	Posted 03/27/2012 3:09 pm A friend at work came across this $1 note yesterday. The cut does go a little bit in to the design. My opinion is that it is a keeper but not worth much of a premium due to its condition and that there is not much of the design missing. Am I about accurate in this conclusion? And maybe --someday -- if I got tired of it, I'd sell it and be happy to get anything over a dollar for it. I get a kick out of finding stuff like that but I have a hard time buying it. Nice find! Just about all that I have learned about coin and paper money errors and varieties, I have learned here, on this site from members like you. BTW, biokemist6, I just noticed that there is a very slight overlap of the outside thin line border on the right edge. It looks almost like an ink stain. Definitely wouldn't have noticed that before.
