So, probably not the best place for this, but still going through the heap of things my father left me I came across this bottle opener.

Not magnetic, heavy (4ish pounds?), no identifiable marks.

Curious if anyone here might know anything about it.

There's one on ebay right now for $5 +shipping. Says it was made in Italy, but who knows if that's true...

Interesting, I tried searching earlier but didn't find it in the hundreds of bottle openers listed. Nice catch.

So his has a "Made in Italy" mark on the back, and this one doesn't... Any chance his (or mine?) could be a reproduction of something?
