That is a very nice find and definitely worth keeping.Pieces like this will always be worth a premium to an error collector.

As the die spilts,it begins to fall apart,chips fall out and create voids in the die which will fill with metal when striking.Thus you get a die crack line then a blob of metal,like on your dime.
