$6 pres at Farmers Market
and not sure if this counts, but I sold an IKE to a bank teller for $1. I asked him if he had any large dollars, and he responded by asking if he could buy it. He had apparently never seen one before. So I happily sold it to him.

Kenton,

Sorry to say, but I don't think your Ike would count.

Yah, didn't think so. He said he was going to keep it in his own collection. The fun part about using Ike's, halves, and dollars is that you can sometimes spark the coin collecting addiction that I'm sure we are all familiar with!

Went to the bank today with my wife to get another roll of dollars and they had 57 Ikes as well. Since I still have around $50 in Ikes I haven't used, I just got $20 worth.

Used $3 in Pres and one Ike to pay part of our dinner bill at a Chinese place tonight. I explained to the cashier/owner what the Ike was and she was happy to take it.

$44,240.50 to go.
