$5 at the gas station for a couple of energy drinks. Young kid taking them was right on it as well, maybe we are getting the word out on these things!

This thread is awesome, I joined just to participate in this, also I've been reading a bunch of threads before I saw this so I'm sure I'll participate in other discussions too.

Yes! this is what we need to do, everyone who works a register should try to give them back to people as change. I work at a bike shop and I'm definitely going to start handing them out every once and a while. Although I'm sure many people will refuse them, haha.

FYI - this thread was started on 4/6, so in 3 months we have spent 3,207 coins (about 1000 per month). If we keep the same pace, we should complete this sometime in 2020
