A rare Saturday in town, I was able to pay my teller friend a visit, get my roll, and drop him a list of dollar coins I was looking for. Did some spending for this thread too:
$3 goldens for museum admission. The cashier marveled at them and said they reminded her of her trip to Europe.
One half in a donation box while I was there.
$2 for a hot dog at costco
$5.50 spent
$91,012 to go

Whew, what a day!
I began with 9 SBA/Prez/Sac out of my coworker's drawer--we swapped bills for coins when he left.
Next, a man came in with $6 in $2 bills, four quarters and a Prez dollar, looking for lotto. I relieved him of his money in exchange for Powerball, bringing my total dollars up to $10.
It was a "high $20" day, by which I mean for most of the day I wasn't getting small change. When my ones ran low I handed out all ten coins.
Later: busy-busy-busy, I bought a snack for $1.29 and paid with a bill and a half. Handed the half back out to someone as change.
Then went across the street to buy my own lotto after work: new AZ game, $2 wager. Dollar coins both.
Total: $12.50 in our target monies, and three $2 bills.
$90 994 to go! And if we keep it up at our current rate, we'll be done by 2018.

Blah! That sucks, argentum. Did you get manufacturer's name? That's a lot to lose.
Spent $4.50 on shipping coins today and got the third degree from the clerk. "Where did you get these? Why do you have them?" Calm down, man. They're Kennedys and baby dollars, not St. Gaudens gold.
$90 953.50!

G$4 and $6 in half dollars on food and drinks this past weekend.
Some of the more interesting comments.
"Are those silver dollars?" "No just half dollars." "Are they giving those out for change?" "No I brought them with me to spend." "Darn, okay."
"What are these? Dubloons?"
