In the last few days I spent 3 sacs and 2 halves at Rite Aid, 1 sac and 1 half at Subway, 1 sac and 2 halves at the grocery store, 6 sacs and 3 halves at bowling for games then 2 sacs at the club for a tip, and finally 1 sac at Wendy's. This is $18 total.

$88,344.50 to go.

Now that I spent all of my sac dollars, I got 2 more rolls at the bank today. 17 of the first 20 presidents were represented in these 2 rolls. Quite a variety.

Went to the grocery store and the total came to 38$ I had 20$ worth of halves in a bag so I figured I wud lay them out 2 each then pay the rest in paper and I ask him if its alright he says not a problem and he then tells me you have to many here and it takes only 38 individual .50 pieces thinking they were dollars hahaha...i did not say anything as being a cashier I know I have given away wrong change and no one has said anything....so he gives me 2 back and I get the 38$ in groceries so I guess the total can be 38 halves for 19$

$88,273.50 I guess is the running total

Four bucks tonight between halves and dollars, including one half I took in and then gave out again! I've discovered that if you lay the dollar coin in the person's hand first, "one dollar, and ____ cents" they're far more likely to take it or go "cool!" because they know immediately that you haven't shortchanged them.
