Nobody who knew anything was at the "brick and mortar" store today. He said they carry Dansco's but could not tell me if they had any 7070's.

~I seriously doubt that the Isabella Quarter would be added to the 7070, it's TOO specific.

~There are a whole heck-of-a-lot more Commemorative Half Dollars than Commemorative Dollars.

- Why there is space for 4 Commerative Half Dollars and only space for one commerative dollar?

When the 7070 was originally designed there probably weren't that many dollar commems. If it was designed before 1983 there was only one, the Lafayette.

That would be nice if they added holes for all those types ghostrider... Looks like I will just have more holes filled when The new Dansco #7070 comes out... It'll look better in the end

They also definitely need holes for the "Arrows & Rays" variety of all the different Seated Liberty coins.

I suspect, however, that the update will simply be to modernize it a bit to include newer varieties.

I think that when all is said and done the purpose of a type set is to have one coin of each major series present in an album so that at a glance you could see coin history. Are varieties needed, in some cases yes. I really feel that when a coin is significantly changed it becomse a new coin. Changing either side of a coin seems to qualify as a monumental event. Having one commerative half dollar would force a collector to be selective about the coin he includes. Something he does with each coin he introduces to his album.

For example in the case of the Susan B's a near date doesn't really change the impact of the coin, IMHO it just an oddity that adds to the flavor of the set and worthy of it own slot in the album. Such a dated coin would need be included in the coin's album, of course.
