This looks like it could be a test minting of a token of some sort over a cent. The impression was too deep to affect anything other than the higher points of the coin. Of course since this is a token over cent and not a cent over token, it was definitely created this way outside the mint and thus does not have any specific numismatic value...but the idea that it's a vise job is not working with me.

the very bottom of the building base appears to be the same depth all the way across . the you in E PLU. looks to be still raised. its interesting

I'll see if I can get a better pic I thought it was interesting it looks like the top layer of the reverse is peeling off idk its very cool looking I think

I was looking at the obverse and a vice would not have made those slice marks on it like that it would have pushed in the coin. Any clue coppercoins on what I should do with the coin keep it or send it to CSI lol
