I didn't want to spend the money for a DSLR camera and I felt that this was close enough for my purposes. I shoot the coins in Macro mode and I use a copy stand. I am using 3 Jansjo lamps from Ikea. If you have a store near you, I think you can pick them up for $9.99 each. I had to buy mine on ebay for about $20 each. They offer good lighting and lot of flexibility. Some think it deserves to be in a XF40 details slab and others think it looks more like a problem-free AU58.
