In the war of 1812, the Shawnee Indians played a major role and Chief Tecumseh led his tribe and died in the war. Aside from the British taking American sailors into captivity to serve on theor ships, our biggest objective was actually to capture parts of Canada. Had we actually succeeded, both countries would look completely different now. The defense of Fort McHenry is the ONLY thing worth a darn Baltimore has ever in the history of ever done.
