The 'Island Lightning' die clash, as featured in the 60th edition Charlton variety section. These die clashes are easier to find in proof-like sets, than in business strikes. Does that lightening strike have the lips marks in front of the traveler? How many different clashes are there for 1975? I know of at least two :P

1976 business strike nickel dollar, PCGS MS-65. Another tough year for gem grades. 1976 business strike, attached jewel variety. A very hard coin to find, even digging through junk bins. I can probably count the number I have found only on two hands over the last decade. This one is PCGS MS-62, and I have an upgrade heading for grading later this fall. I just acquired this one, and I am using the seller's photos, so apologies for the poor colour and contrast. A 1976 business strike partial clip, NGC MS-60. I will have to get this coin properly photographed soon. 1976 business strike, 20% off-centre. This coin is very similar to that shown by errorone2012 and I wonder if mine is a further progressive strike from the same batch? Mine is in a PCGS holder, MS-64 grade. The $1 on 50 cent planchet is ms-64 and the Off center dollar is ms-63 . Both are ANACS graded and encapsulated. The majority of my collection resides in ANACS holders . Off course I do have the odd other service mixed in .

I think there are at least 2 other off center 76 dollars out there . I once had the opportunity to buy a full reverse 76 brockage dollar and I didn't buy it . It was a real pretty piece but the price at the time was quite high . The owner might still have it but he must be getting up there in age , as we all are lol . In retrospect I should have bit the bullet and bought it but even at today prices it would not be a deal , although it would have made a nice addition to my collection .
