mrwiskers Pillar of the Community United States 1780 Posts	Posted 11/10/2025 10:49 am ...very nice cameo examples, Dearborn & Hondo ... ...for this coin, Brazil mainly used 8 reales from the various Spanish colonial mints, most commonly (but not limited to), the Mexico City mint ... ...this is one of my favorites, in particular, because so many circulated examples of Brazil 960 Reis have been (over) cleaned ... this one retains it's original toning & highlights the coins features well ... a lot of the host coin's features are visible (in hand), especially the edge legends, including the mint mark, denomination, date, & king's name (CHAS IV) ...
