yeah it looked like the "moth eaten effect": was there by the Reverse pictures and if everything matches on the reverse like it looked like yours did I believe it is authentic instead of someone modifying another coin of the same date and making a 3 legger themselves. I believe you are alright as far as authenticity goes

Kelly I am going to have it slabbed just because it makes me nervous that it is a fake but with all the reassuring comments I'm only slabbing it incase I ever decide to sell it. I really appreciate the help on this one.

Considering you're probably looking at a bare minimum worth of $600+ in a slab (figuring on VF, maybe pessimistic), um, yeah, let's get this one into a slab.
