Wow, Eddop => fantastic coins!!

Man, everybody is certainly bringing their A-Game!! ... it is wonderful to see so many great coins in a single thread ...

=> keep-up the good work, comrades!! ... that makes "9" contestants and "18" coins so far (good effort) ...

... but I know that there are still quite a few of the usual suspects that haven't entered their examples, "yet" => so get 'em in!!

*rats* ... that's always a tremendous shame (nuthin' makes me more discouraged about collecting coins, than discovering fakes in our own backyard) ...

Hmmm? ... yes, it does look that way ... I think he's wearing Laurel leaves around his neck? (does that count as a Laureate Portrait, or does the head itself have to be adorned with the Laurel leaves?)

t0rress => I looked-up the definition to see if your first Laureate coin was allowed (here is what I found):

Definitions:

Laureate: Crowned or decked with laurel as a mark of honor.

Decked: To clothe with finery; adorn (often used with out: 'we were all decked out for the party')

=> from these definitions, I was going to allow you to keep your first laureate attempt, but I am actually glad to see that you've already chosen a substitute (thank you => that will eliminate any controversy)

It's ashamed that several coins have turned out to be fakes.
