I bought 13 90% halves for slightly less than melt yesterday. The good part was one of them was a commemorative worth at least 3x melt to most numismatics. The seller listed them on cl. He works at a gas station/car wash and was selling some of the coins he had accumulated from people buying cigs, alcohol, snacks, etc.

New to coins (usually collect notes) so please be gentle. This SET was issued over thirty years ago. I can't seem to find it's value. Maybe it's just that I'm looking in the wrong place.  |

Cashhound Looks like you have a American Silver Eagle ( ASE) and an American Gold Eagle (AGE). These are issued by the U.S. mint each year and should be listed in their own section in a coin publication like RedBook. |

Grabbed this set of 50 medals (41 oz of sterling) off ebay for $344.95. Was going to flip it but decided to rip them out and hang on to them since the price was right!  |

Got a gift of a bunch, (a sock full) of foreign coins. This was the silver cull. 1942 Silver Florin Two Shillings .500 11.31 grams, 0.1818 oz   4 1/2 Franc Switzerland. 0.835 Silver 2.5 g x 4 = 8.35 g silver. 0.2685 oz. 0.1818 + 0.2685 = 0.4503 oz Total free silver, Thanks golfer friend.  |

Got these two Christmas 1 oz silver rounds for free as a gift from our coin club at the last week Christmas party. They certainly look nicer than this but I had to inventory them right away and the pics didn't come out well at all. Merry Christmas to all!   |
