I'm new to "collecting" Silver Rounds, and first learned only about two weeks ago about the 2 oz silver rounds made by the Intaglio Mint, and sold directly by Limited Mintage along with several resellers. These sell for roughly $6 - $8 or so per ounce over spot. To me, that's a fair price to pay for the quality of artistry/workmanship of these pieces made by Intaglio Mint. Subsequently, I've bought about a dozen different ones of these, mainly those that are numismatically themed. Here's just one. 39mm diameter, 6mm thick (about 1/4 inch thick):

Not bad Winesteven, considering that even plain silver rounds are commanding that premium.

Quote: First post here: My "collecting" has gotten so out of control, I had to join a forum to help me get my fix. I've been spending thousands in the last couple weeks, since this silver run. Today was another heavy spending day. Won this auction a couple hours ago... 4 out of the 6 coins on the "Big Coins Series". They're all 5oz overpriced gold-plated silver coins, but I had to have them lol. Very nice! to the Community!

Just received 100 ASE's from JM Bullion. Took 5 weeks to get them. Random dates ordered, received 5 rolls of 2013. Wait times to get silver is getting crazy.

That's a long waiting period for just 100 ounces of ASE, and silver price goes down when demands out stripe supplies. Go figure! No manipulation...

Went to the LCS yesterday and picked up these. I was surprised to find proof 90% silver State Quarters in the 90% bin, so took them all. Seems odd to me that they don't have numismatic value. Maybe due to the tarnish, or their being common? Regardless they are pretty.
