Quote: Today at the Bay State Coin Show in Marlborough, MA, I bought two small bags of halves. One with Franklins, the other with Kennedys. Paid 21x FV. Excellent!

This one I can say is added to the stash. I picked it up as I like gold and it was in a Soap Box, but it doesn't really fit in in my goals for 2024. But its still nice and you can't let nice gold be sold to someone else.

Picked up a roll of 2024 silver eagles at a local coin show. My cost was $640 which was around $3 over spot per coin. Seemed like a fair deal.

It's been posted before about Costco selling gold/silver. I got one each 2024 gold buffalo and 2024 American eagle. They are in patriotic assay cards. I found the same assay cards on Bullion Exchanges who also sells them on Walmart. Dealers sometimes have bullion put in assay cards, APMEX, SD Bullion etc. Pamp sells a gold bar in patriotic red white blue assay. The Costco assay cards may have been made by Pamp. I could take the coins out of cards but don't want to. Costco doesn't have all the bars/coins online all the time, seems like they rotate them. I think you need to be member to buy these. With Costco higher membership I get 2% cash back with purchases. Counting the 2% cash back I only paid about 1.2% over spot for them. One thing, Costco does not allow returns for gold bars/coins. Here they are. I didn't take pics, these are stock photos.
