@Moe.... That's a beauty of a 500 yener... I bought the Japanese Mint 1000 "colorized" silver coin for Aomori-ken. They are gorgeous. I guess Japan has hopped on the bandwagon and is doing a coin per Prefecture series in both 500 and 1000 yen... PG

While I prefer circulated coins, I usually try to get one coin for the series that is high MS. So here is mine MS66 Buff:
