philadelphian Pillar of the Community United States 3253 Posts	Posted 01/03/2013 8:34 pm Yay! A Philadelphia token! Specifically a souvenir struck during the Centennial Exposition held here in 1876. Many grand buildings still standing in Fairmount Park were built for this great celebration of our nation's first century. Your token also seems to feature something you don't see very often: the side view of Independence Hall! I'll drop by 5th and Chestnut St on the way to work tomorrow, though, just to be sure!
