My two, cents, if anyone could go to a PO and ask to see the brochure and see it, sure post it. No unfair advantage in that.

The post office is allowed to order them tomorrow, states a sale date of Feb 12, and then says it will not ship until March. That's depressing.

I guess the warning at the front states you can't copy from the mint website. This isn't from there so it should be ok to post. Or am I wrong?

check out the warning in red letters at the bottom of the page of the post office catalog they could get in trouble for letting you take a picture of it.

Thanks for the warning. I won't post it. I guess if someone is that interested they can ask to see the book at the post office.

Or look at the ebay listing linked on the previous page.

Fact is that pictures of the CP brochure have been 'out there' for a week or more for anyone who really looked for them. Despite the warning on the material from CP, there is no way they can practically control the actions of thousands of unionized CP employees. Even if someone were caught handing these brochures out at the mall, the likelihood that they would be severely reprimanded is somewhere close to zero.

IMO, the RCM, either has to stop allowing CP to produce these brochures or get in front of all of this and release information of upcoming releases to everyone. I prefer the latter.

The ebay listing was removed? That makes no sense, it was a legitimate auction. I have a feeling some goody two shoes complained to ebay.

It was my understanding that each PO could only order 5, not that each individual could order 5 at the PO.

That is just based on what I read on here before, the closest Canadian PO to me is about 750 miles away!

@canuck,

If you are the 1st on the list. You can get all.

It also depends on some PO clerks. Some of them or their boss are also collectors.
They order max, keep some and sale the rest.

like Bibo said, it is all depend on the PO. Some PO have bigger collector clientel than others and don't mind doing the extra works. The one I went to the other day, she ordered the max. She also took the order of another PO for the Dino. As she put it "I know these will sell out fast and the other P.O is not selling coin that well so they will order 5 and send it here to me to sell it for them"
