just let you know that I got my 2nd dino coin today from mint store in Vancouver. Pretty fast this time!! Wow...nice one and I like it. No chance to see the night effect yet...

Neat coin, cheney! Are you able to take a picture when it glows? I tried with the first Dino, but found it really tough even with flash..

@allspice

The tricks are using macro lens, manual focus, tripod and longer shutter speed. Of coz, fully charge the coin beforehand. Borrowing a pic from other forum for your reference.

Very nice, pic, Cheney! What shutter speed do you use? Do Fine or Superfine modes play a role?

it depends on the apture and lens. I will suggest 2 to 5 sec in general. ISO may take effect but not so obvious for this case.
