With the drama settled, congrats to you, cheezyfryes on the winning designs. I hope don't create any more by saying this: I am also pleased that my suggested combination of them made the cut.

Had a thought on the CCF token. What about making some out of aluminum so they can be given out as a promo to this site? Aluminum ones shouldn't cost much. A CCF member could buy them in a lot of lets say 10 and then give them to non collectors/YN's. What do you all think? John1

The only reason he would be against it would be cost. I have absolutely NO idea of the ballpark that it would be in for aluminum.

Typically the minting process alone costs around $3 per unit without the cost of the blanks. This changes if a large order is placed but by large I mean over 1000 units. Lets see if the copper goes ahead and is successful before we get ahead of ourselves shall we.

I have redone the polls for the final voting. I have removed all the designs that could be considered duplicates. there are still designs with only slight variations but they are different. The outcome of this poll will finalize the design pair chosen. If there is a need to modify the final design due to duplication of an element on the obv and REV the winning authors will collaborate to resolve this issue they will have 1 week from the end of the voting. Then is off to the modeling and die creation. I am getting the dies made privately so that CCF can retain ownership of them regardless of who makes the actual tokens.

Thanks, all. I'm modifying the design to (a) remove the redundancy of the year of establishment from the Reverse, and (b) consider putting "CCF" instead of "CC" on the Obverse (I also tried using Edwardian Script font for the "CC" but it doesn't physically fit between the wreath design...).
I'll take some time to tweak these two items and get the final images up here soon!
-Steve

Here are the all-but-final designs! These are black & white drafts, and I'll render these in high-quality for submittal to nohope within the next few days. Changes to the winning designs: - "Established 2005" removed from Reverse due to redundancy with the Obverse. The eight stars were spaced out to fill in the bottom of the Reverse. - Changed "CC" to "CCF" on the Obverse per several recommendations. - Per many folks' recommendation, removed the word "FACTS" from the Obverse (the dictionary definition was redundant with "KNOWLEDGE"). - Changed the little dots to stars between HISTORY, KNOWLEDGE, and TRUST. I'm really happy with how these designs turned out. I hope the resulting token will be something special that you'll all be proud to own and share with others!
