specksynder but there are three! The contest was well run IMHO. It was very gracious of nohope587 to put so much time and effort into this process. He treated it as a community project in adherence to the spirit of CCF. There have been wonderful designs submitted and I believe the two that were crowned "winners" (they all were winners in my book) will make for a wonderful medal. Nohope587 on several occasions explained the rules and how the totals would be tallied. He explained it several times when questions were brought to light; if the responses were not what was sought, please be as gracious as nohope587 and accept how he was running the contest. This is an endeavor that has been discussed for several years but only nohope587 was willing to take on. I am fully satisfied with the choices he made based on the voting. What ever nohope587 decides to do at this point will have my full support.

Sorry folks I thought this wold be easier than it turned out I have done this several times with other groups the concept was simple submit a design to be judged by your piers therefore any design submitted should have been included regardless if it was superseded by a later one. Voting was also supposed to be simple the one with the most votes wins. I'm walking away from this before I get to the point where I say something unkind that I might regret later. Its just not worth it.

nohope, I assume the frustration is at me. I honestly don't know what I can say here. Yes, I did express my concern about "competing against myself" early on in the contest, but it was discussed and the topic was dropped. I believe the contest truly did become "the one with the most votes wins". I know that two choices in the vote being identical was a true accident, so I blame no one and hope nobody is upset with me personally about something beyond my control. I truly approached this contest with a passion for this forum that's taught me so much about the coin collecting hobby. I was honored to be able to submit my designs and have everyone take them into consideration. I'm humbled that my designs won the most votes. Everyone, if this contest has caused some kind of stigma with me here on the forum, please let me know what I did wrong so we can work through it and move on. I do not see where I broke any of the contest rules or why people are seemingly upset. If I indeed am in the wrong somehow, I humbly ask that this be brought to my attention so I can offer a sincere apology. I still strongly believe in my designs and believe they not only represent this forum but provide something that we all as a community can be proud to own and use to hopefully introduce more and more people to this wonderful site. Back to the designs themselves: I'd like everyone's input as to what we should do to correct the fact that both sides say "Established 2005". I had the idea of leaving this on the ribbon/wreath side, but replacing with the words "What's In YOUR Pocket?" (letter case as typed) on the other side. It's the one main tagline from the site that's currently not on the token. Thoughts? Once this is secured I'll make up the high resolution images to send on to nohope. Humbly yours, -Steve

I'm not the best with words and expressing myself, but please Nohope do not give this up, you are the one in control of the CCF Medallion, please see it too the end.
cheezyfryes, yes you won one half of the design, but it is nohope's idea so please work with him not against him to finish this.
Again Richard we are with you on whatever your final design may be.
I hope I have said this the right way with no offence to anyone.

Again, someone please tell me where I've been perceived as "working against nohope" throughout this process? I quite honestly have a sad heart about this all because I'm not sure what I did that is causing issues. Maybe I'm just misreading things here?

The votes were tallied and the winners were picked. Nohope587 my heart goes out to you. No matter what you do someone will feel differently. But what ever you decide is fine with me.

Nohope made the final call (see prior page of this thread) and I have emailed back and forth with noahs-numismatics about the results. noah, thanks very much for the email, your kind words are another example of how great the people are around this forum. I've posted a new thread in the Main Coin Forum so we can work out the final tweaks together. Please visit this thread and post your input! https://goccf.com/t/148364

I have 32 hrs of flying starting tomorrow. When I arrive at my destination and have recovered. I will look over this and see what needs to be done. Unfortunately this coincided with a particularly busy time for me and I just have not had the time to devote to it that is required. I will have five weeks of quiet time stating next week to get this all together and resolve it to Everyone's Satisfaction. cheezyfryes if you want to complete the project and get the medallions minted paid for and distributed then please be my guest. If that's not possible them I would ask everyone to step back for a while and give me time to sort this out.

Sorry if I said something that implied that, I'm just trying to finalize the designs and get you some final high res images you can use. Thanks so much for organizing this, we all appreciate it!

Cheezyfryes I have no problem handing the project over to you. But that means the whole project. If you want to run with it that's fine with me but if you are not willing to take it all on I would ask that you step away from it. I have no problem with your continued participation. But please confine yourself to comments and suggetions. Taking it uppon yourself to push things forward is confusing and makes my job all the harder. I will go over your comments again. I know some have merit. I am going to consult with the mods about options before I make a decision to move ahead. Yes I want CCF participation in the project as it's going to be something available to all forum members. But keep in mind I am funding
