I was searching nickels today and found this type I nickel. Is it worth restoring the back to see if it has a mint mark or is there another way of determining that?

I know its 1913 but I don't think you can determine the mint any other way than the mark

It is a type I coin and type I coins were only made in 1913, so what you said was accurate.
