I'm in bit of a situation and maybe someone can answer this question? I'm currently collecting Barbados $10 coins from 1973 to 1981 they were minted in both silver and copper nickel I know that the silver ones weigh 37.90 grams but I do not know the weight in grams of the copper nickel varieties most of the ones I have obtained are loose without any provenance included if anyone knows please reply and thank you.

Krause doesn't list a weight for the copper-nickel versions. Krause does have copper-nickel and silver weights for the 1983 $10 coin.
1983 copper-nickel $10 = 32.7 grams
1983 silver $10 = 35.52 grams

if the percentages are the same, the copper-nickel 1973-1981 should weigh about 34.89 grams

calculations: 32.7/35.52 = 34.89/37.9
