The lack of issues alone makes it a worthwhile coin, the Obv 1 is just an added bonus.
I read one of your earlier posts on identifying the 1871s, and it conservatively saved me $400.00 (and an inferior coin), so thank you.
I'd like to pick your brain on the issue a little further. Based on your experience with the 1871 variety, what percentage of 1871s would you say are the Obv 1 variety? Along the same vein, are the 1870 Obv 2, 1871H Obv 1, or the 1872 Obv 1 reasonably obtainable (like the 1884 C1 large cent), or are they so rare that I'll likely never find one?
