WildYapok, Whizb4ng-- entries duly noted! Whiz-- I agree with you on the Persic tet. A big wildcard in this little game, that's why I included it And thanks for that great tip about timing! An excellent point. There are so many big auctions this month, people might be tapped out or just wanting a break in October.

I'm also surprised by the lack of entrants. Only 10 people have submitted entries so far and a few more have said they plan to.
Is it too hard? Too much hassle? Don't like the prize choices? (surely not, who doesn't like FREE?!) Curious.
Deadline for round 1 entry is tomorrow (Wednesday, 9/18) at 7 a.m.
I suspect that Round 1 will be easier than Round 2-- rather, that people's bids will be closer to the hammer.
Round 2 (Heritage) has live bidding (via internet, phone, and in person) after the internet pre-bidding occurs. That sometimes leads to frenzied bidding in those last 15-20 seconds.

Warren, if you are a winner, are you going to choose one of the coins I bought from you? That would be pretty funny :)

Here's my round 1 bid sheet, I'll have round 2 in before the deadline. They don't both have to be in by tomorrow morning right?
