My Secret Santa arrived today and I am a millionaire! Well sort of. My Secret Santa sent me 3 Banknotes from Peru and 3 coins. He also provided a fascinating history lesson on the inflation that went rampart throughout Peru. He gave me a 1986 10 Intis note and a 1987 100 Intis note. Then within 3 years the Banco Central De Reserva del Peru were producing 5,000,000 Intis notes. I would have never known any of this if not for my Secret Santa. I do not know his Forum name nor do I want to say his real name but a big shout out to him. An absolutely excellent gift.
I went through the same stages as a couple people when receiving their gift. First it was 'woohoo I got mail' second it was 'I don't remember buying anything', third was 'I definitely don't remember buying this' and finally 'ohhhh Secret Santa!'
Thanks again Secret Santa and you definitely peaked me interest in banknotes. Maybe now you may be tempted to join us in the dark depths of the Ancient forum. We have cookies there you know.

received mine...ive been outdone, very nice drawing came with it! Got a set of what I assume is the circulating coins of Pakistan. Not got to the coins yet, want to get some sharp scissors (they're taped to the back of the illustration which I dont want to wreck!). Lots of effort put in...even the handwritten script! First time I've got a letter from Pakistan.
