Been a awhile since I last posted on this thread, since then, I have found three attached sixes! two of them are in extraordinary condition , the third one is a few grades down, thats the one I have on E-Bay at the moment. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1996-CANADI...0f177&_uhb=1

Too bad it didn't sell, nuemistman. Are you going to re-list it? Maybe start it lower to get some interest and auction fever happening? Let us know early on if you do, because I'm sure that a few members here on the forum would be interested.

Thanks pennysaver,Since I now own several of these coins, I thought I would give another collector the opportunity to own one. Instead of starting at a high selling price, I just took a stab at posting this item. When I first posted it, my starting bid was $99.99, but then I thought better of it, and reduced the starting bid at half that . It is not my intention to gouge anybody for an excessive amount of money, or show off as some other sellers do. I am NOT a dealer.. Why it didn`t even have a watcher is beyond me.There doesn`t seem to be much interest in this error /variety at this time. But yes, I am going to repost this item, I will start bidding mch lower, thanks again for the advise!

I have 2 or 3 of these sitting in 2x2's. I was surprised when I first seen that Coins&Canada has it as a variety. I normally would of just set it aside as a normal coin with a nice die chip/gouge. Its cool to have and I have noticed over the years that they are not all to common to find.

I like it, hope it sells. I noticed an odd one here..the seller calls it 2006 attached 6 but its only attached to a die chip.

Love that one! I don't know if you call it a die chip or more of a Cud on the D with a high 6? Nice one!

pennyman: I agree -- that's not an attached 6; that's just a 2006 with a die chip. Nuemistman's nickel is a 1996 with a die chip too, but it seems to be a far more desirable variety.

Nice! I love die progressions -- do you have any others in this particular series?

I will check my 2006`s and get back. There are also various anomalies on the 1996 nickel, like the die chip on top of the T in cents ETC, Check out "coins and Canada" under prices, at the bottom of the coin listing there are the varieties for more info and photos!javascript:insertsmilie('')

I was wondering if there is any updates, I have been looking for an attached 6 for over a year now, I have probably searched a couple hundred boxes of nickels but alas no joy. I too have found 5 or 6 1990 bare bellies, 2 that are full, and the rest are partials. is there any reference as to the mintage of the attached 6?
