Buddy Rest in Peace United States 7075 Posts	Posted 10/26/2013 10:02 pm I've been out MDing twice -- it's not legal where I live -- so I can only dig around in my own yard. So far, nails and a one-half inch piece of copper tubing. I found more stuff transplanting hostas and digging up weeds. LOL Anyway, it really looks like fun and it's just got to be great to find anything that not garbage. Report this Post to the Staff

But my house is 82 years old and an old sewer line (no longer in use) ran along the edge of my property. People threw out all sorts of stuff. I have old medicine bottles and buttons. At the back of my little lot is where they used to burn their trash (way back when) and I have dug up a lot of bits of metal and glass. I really do enjoy reading about other people's finds and someday I'm going to pack up my MD and go dig somewhere ...... Report this Post to the Staff
