@blargish - thank you. I, too, have been swinging and missing on The Riseing Sun piece. Very nice adds.

Quote: Blargish: Those are very useful threads ainsivalavie. Do you have a census for the Wood 24 token? I have thus far been able to trace ~25 separate examples in my database with individual photographs. (I have not been able to further trace the 3 that appear in the 1987 Warren Baker Sale since my digitized copy has poor photo quality.) @Blargish:Since I didn't do any specific research for the Wood 24, I only have 20 examples in my archives. So your work seems to be more extensive than mine.

This one came in yesterday. I have a little trouble identifying this one. I think it is LC-60-11 but I'm not sure. Also what would the quality be on this one somewhere XF-AU I think

@Gebs - I agree LC-60-11 in EF-AU possibly cleaned as it looks a bit pink on my monitor. Nice photos and addition.

I also have a few unopened rolls stashed away. Now need the time to patiently go through them.

@1960NYGiants:
This is a very nice token. However, when I had seen this token for sale last month, my opinion was via the photos (Also those on PCGS) that it's not the Courteau #027 variety.
The obverse is indeed the same, but the reverse is a different one that I have not been able to identify to date (Among other things, the die cracks do not match). Thus, this pair of dies is not listed by Courteau.
At the sale of Doug Robins' collection, a token of this variety was also offered.
So, it's definitely a great find.

@ainsivalavie
Thank you. The obverse has the crack on the horse and the reverse has the crack between haLF. Some of the other cracks mentioned in your book do not appear on this piece. So I thought it was a different die state. Sounds like an uncatalogued die marriage? I'll call it #027x in my inventory until a # is assigned.
