Hi, I really like my Red Book, which Susan gave me.

Also my Grandpa has the Australian McDonald's book, and he lets me look at the coins in it once in a while. Bye.

Well...for me, as dark/lite side person I use:

1)The RedBook 2005
2)Krause 1901-2000
3)Krause 1801-1900
4)Guide to grading and counterfeit coins.
5)A guide book of Morgan silver dollars

Thats my main..
I really want to buy the Krause 1701-1800, 1601-1700
and medieval coinage in Europe.

Oh and I also wanted the Spink catalogues.

They are very pricey though.

"The Half Cent Die State Book 1793 - 1857" by Ron Manley;
"The Cent Book 1816 - 1839" by John Wright;
"The Die Varieties of United States Large Cents 1840 - 1857" by Bob Grellman;
"Early Half Dollar Die Varieties 1794 - 1836" (Third Ed.) by Al Overton;
"Coins of England & The United Kingdom" (40th Ed.) by Spink.

Those are my 5 top books, but I have many others.

Besides the Red Book, I have found The Official Price Guide to Mint Errors, to be helpful in identifying possible errors.
