Today was the Alamo Coin Club's Summer Coin Show. This was the first coin show I've been to in ages- the only other one I might have been to was a vague memory. So vague, all I remember about it is winning one of the door prizes.

I'm rambling, sorry for that.

The bestest part of the Coin Show was the Used Book Vendor hiding in the back corner. I went in asking for Greg McDonald's Pocket Guide to Australian Coins and Banknotes, and got not only that but Rennik's Unofficial Coins of Colonial Australia and New Zealand (Original 1697 edition) AND Spink's Catalogue of British Colonial and Commonwealth Coins (1986).

All three for about fifty dollars. I should hope this is a nice start to my Australian Numismatic Library.
