I think this Superman gold coin sold out faster than the 2013 Superman gold coin. I remember the first one made it to the public release but then sold out the next day.

Well ya if you remember when the first ones came out there was very little interest in them as they are only 14 karat and had a color picture of superman on them... not until people saw that they were selling for $1000 plus on ebay did all heck break loose , then everyone wanted one, mostly to resell I presume.

I thought you might have been blown away while in Nova Scotia during Tropical storm Arthur ! lol

Welcome back !

Thanks!
Well in fact, I come back from the vacations and the following day I couldn't even stand up ... high fever and pain for almost 2 weeks.
The positive point of view is that it happened the day after and not during the trip
I liked very much your province

What do you mean, there is lots to do in Nova Scotia especially if you like lobster but I wouldn't recommend going during the winter months... the roads can get nasty...

so if I order a direct ship gold from the post office will it be allowed to process seeing as I have already got my RCM order comfirmed?..does the Post office and the RCM monitor the release together or are they separate allotments......im thinking it must be separate because I was buying coins from the Post office on the last Superman release after I had ordered from the mint so my question is probably rhetorical.....

I got one of the gold superman coins last year. This year, I decided not to pick one up. Had the opportunity as I was up and about when the e-mail came from my rep. Hope all who got one do well with their purchase but I just don't believe this one will do as well as last year's coin. I don't flip them but keep them, so its a lot of money to have tied up.

I did pick up two of 1938 superman coins. I thought that coin looked really good (one will be a gift). I am also looking forward to subscribing to the glow in the dark series.

So what will be the next superhero to be issued by RCM. Any thoughts? I have seen some discussion on this site that it could be Batman? Isn't Wolverine Canadian or at least in a fictional way?

Well, I've to tell you that my family was not the only one visiting The Maritimes. Halifax was full of turists. I liked very much the Citadel.

Separate, for sure. There might be a quota for how many coins your local post office(s) can order direct ship.

I'm going to try my local PO for a couple of the silver coins. Can't afford the gold one at this time. Good luck!

If you have budget just to "load" at least one (gold) - buy it...you will earn couple of hundreds by quick resell even before you'll need to pay for it.

Sorry, that here I support "flipping".
I just see in this coin exactly what for RCM minted it - simple way to make a money.
