Most collectors know the Morse code on 1943-1945 nickel, it decodes as "WE WIN WHEN WE WORK WILLINGLY". Now when RCM doing the 5cent replica 1oz silver commemorate coin, they even put the French version "la bonne volonte gage de victoire". The English version is from bottom to top, at left side, and the French version is from top to bottom, at right side, both are in clockwise.

Hmmmm, says to me that RCM replicas are less about issuing historic Canadian replicas and more about reengineering to satisfy the political correct environment of today.

Another reason to only collect the authentic originals, in my opinion.

The mint said every coin in the series would be faithful to the original design.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Right...the replica is far from the original piece, in style and font.

Being exact copy of the original the coin would be just a copy, replica, like you said.

When something new, even small, introduced to the design - this is "replica based on original design" and not just a copy.

Additional pros to collect this:
**Limited mintage
**not repeatable grade and proof finish.
**no one did touch your coin - it only yours
three of the above all together never can be for the circulation original piece.

There are many differences between this coin and the original.

It is round.
The torch and V for Victory or 5 are smaller.
The Morse code is located further from the rim, in both languages.
Fonts are different.
The elements are there. Different from the original.

Also Silveroid - to add to what you have noted;
the Proof coin is 9999 Silver, and 40 mm (what makes it unique)
With COA, and part of a limited subscription, with case.
