This is probably duplicated in a previous post, but I just think it's a particularly nice example of the genre. A one year type showing John Cabot's caravel Matthew, in which he sailed to present day Canada (most likely Newfoundland) in 1497, with a crew numbering a mere 18 souls. I was fortunate enough to have been able to buy this specimen at melt yesterday.
