Thanks. Beautiful aren't they? One of the wheats came from a box I got back in August. I had just picked it up and had a few minutes to kill before an appointment to get my new glasses. I decided to open a roll while waiting in the parking lot. There was a UNC 1954 and a 1955 S and another toned wheat in that roll. At that time I knew I had a good box. The box ended up yielding 31 UNC wheats including a 35 and a 48, about 20 UNC 59-65 and an additional 30 or so wheats. I spent the coming weeks buying every box I could in hopes of getting more of the collection. I got the second ender out of another box I believe is part of the same collection but have not yet gone through it. So now I have about 30 boxes to go through.

Cool thread. Used to do halves way back when but gave up after many skunks. I have found 1 Indian ender in pennies and probably 100 wheat Enders. Of course I'm done 20-30k in boxes so bound to get a bunch. I do LOOK EVERY time I rip open a box tho still!!

I found this in a half dollar box awhile back. The box itself had a total of 9 proof coins in it.

Only the 1938 and 1950 are tougher "year" coins to find among the non War Jeffersons in my experience... hoping this 1951 turns out to be an S mint!

Well, it turned out to be a '51 Philly... it is from the same branch and batch which produced the '50 Philly Jefferson the other day... which makes me wonder if perhaps a '55 Philly Jefferson might be lurking there?

BTW, these finds have been from the Bank Of America branch which doesn't like to take rolled coins... and for about 3 straight months, all they had were shiny new nickels and cents... they appear to have gotten rid of the teller I had an issue with, so I have been going there more frequently of late.
