Quote:She's a beauty, SteedaFLA! So what did the front look like? My War Nickel turned out to be a 45-S, by the way, in case you didn't see the nickel thread. John77, I can't remember, it was about 5 years ago when I found a monster box of halves. Suffice to say, that was my only end roll find! Hah! I do read the nickel thread and I saw that you have some excellent finds in there! I CRH nickles when I have some extra time. I don't post a lot but I am working to complete a circulation set of Jefferson's as well. I have about seven more to complete it - but they're all the hard-to-get ones.

I'm going through around 7-8,000 a week on average now. I just have the 43-D and 50-D left for my second set out of circulation (the first I completed almost 30 years ago). I think I like the nickels the best because there is always a chance, however slight it might be, of finding a key date every once in a while. Good luck with the rest of your set... going to guess 5 of the coins you need are the 4 pre-40 mintmarked ones, and that pesky 50-D, along with maybe a couple of the other S mints, since you're out in FLA? Am I close?

I been CRH about four years now and shortly after I began I decided to put any cool enders away for a rainy day. This is my wheat pile.

nice pic yanks. Did you open the ones where the date was showing? I only ask because all of the enders are showing wheat.

Skibdib yes I rip the ones showing the date. I figure the mystery of not knowing the dates of these will make for a fun time opening someday. I actually found another one after I posted that picture. So a dozen in 4 years are my stats. There is nothing better then looking through those peep holes of a new box and seeing some wheat.
