1914, 1917 and 1938 French 25 centimes:

These coins were issued between 1914 and 1940 and had two changes of composition. From 1914 to 1917 they were made of pure nickel, and the letters MES on the reverse were underlined. The composition changed to cupro-nickel partway through 1917, and the line under MES was omitted. Then in 1938 the composition changed again, to nickel-brass, and two dots were placed either side of the date.

1926 Greenland 25 ore:

This coin is interesting as it was originally released without a hole. However, the coins were prone to confusion with the 1 Krone that was only slightly larger, so they were withdrawn, pierced in the middle and put back into circulation.
