Two versions of the zinc French 20 centimes issued during the Nazi occupation of 1941-44. The first had the word 'Vingt' (Twenty) in letters, and was replaced by a revised design showing '20' in figures. Perhaps the occupying Germans didn't understand what 'Vingt' meant?

Biggest holes: on the Micronesion island of Yap (great scuba destination) the native people used large round stone discs as money. These stone "coins" had holes in the middle so that a pole could be passed through them to allow them to be carried by two or more men.
I'd like to have one for my backyard, but I have no idea how to get it here.
