Then he could have tried for about $15 to 20 Thousand dollars. Why mess around for hundreds when could have made thousands. Easy, he too suspects it is a fake. Report this Post to the Staff
westernsky Pillar of the Community United States 7648 Posts	Posted 11/09/2014 10:42 am The coin is genuine, the mint Mark is not. Either the mint mark was created by carefully reworking the metal in the mintmark area OR it is a "D" mint mark that has been soldered on to a genuine coin. The discoloration around the mint mark is a huge red flag. Report this Post to the Staff

Maybe there were enough reports for ebay to finally realize there was a problem. If I remember correctly, this is the day the listing would have ended. It was probably pulled at the last minute.
