It is always disheartening to see coins you bought at full price sell for such large discounts.

2014 Gold Superman- $799 - Paid $1000
2015 Gold Superman -$499 - Paid $800

And how about the Gold Blessing coins that originally sold for $988. They sold for $788 and $648 today.

It makes one want to quit coin collecting.

Why it special?
99% of the coins that you will try to sell - you will see, that people simply not interested in them, or will be ready to buy for less than 50% from issue price.

That's why I'm extremely picky these days. I wait patiently and then pick up the coins I want for 1/2 price. It makes up for the drop in price for the few I buy at issue price.

It makes me feel like a vulture circling around, waiting for the kill, but that's the reality these days, unfortunately.

@Lostwords, patienly waiting to pick up desired coins at 1/2 price has helped me to wipe the tears from Looney Tunes loss (several coins). You are not alone.

Four days of junk coins. Coins no one wants. Most of the coins from Colonial Acres are the same ones you see in their monthly Blow-out and One of a Kind sales.

Did not spend a dime and unlikely to do so for the rest of the so called "12 Days of Christmas" sale.

Agree with MoneyPenney and Looney4Numi.

These sales are crap and from now on I will be ultra picky as to what I buy. Fed up with my coins selling for half price.

Really makes me dislike this hobby.
