I was surprised that the "Locomotives Across Canada" coins were on sale at $85. That's ai 25% discount from the issue price of $113.

The Gatewest Boxing Day sale ended December 27, at 9:00 am. I thought the sale would end of the day so I missed ordering some coins. However, no big loss, saved money by not ordering. Anyone order from the RCM Boxing Day sale - 10% off sale? Ends soon, December 28. A measly 10% discount compared to the 25-50% discount of the GW sale. 10% is better than nothing I suppose but rather insulting compared to other sales. |

The going rate for the Seven Sacred Teachings coins is between $40 and $55 on ebay so it is it is not exactly a hot deal. Another case of the RCM making too much product and no one buying. Sad to say almost all RCM NCLT will be heading this direction. Pity the fool who bought this coin at original price of $110 only to find out they could have bought it for 63% off issue price. |

I was at my local Canada Post today. All 2017 coins in stock were 15% and all 2016 coins were 25% off.
