All I can afford is about a 1k bill usually..so for these double eagles I'm going to have to do a payment plan. At least I'm.able to pay it off. Grateful for that option.

I think they see the $3's and $4's as too uncommon for a regular collection. Only 10 out of 40+ $3 issues reached 10k mintage, and only one reached 100k. And Stellas, well, Dansco can't afford them either.

Now, now, Dave, don't be too discouraging... ;-)

Actually, there are a few dates (such as 1854 and 1878) that are very common (as far as $3 gold pieces go) and quite available in a variety of grades. Although, I strong recommend getting as strongly struck an example as you can find in the XF-AU arena.

I'll totally agree with you on $4's, though...I ain't ever gettin' one of those!
Rest in Peace

This is a Dansco coin album for a certain type set. They are hard to find because the company stopped making them.
The set consists of U.S Major Coin Types starting at Half Cents too Modern U.S . Coinage. There is a Gold page you can add with U.S Gold.

The $10 Indian looks like a nice addition. Gold can be very challenging to collect. I'm quite fond of the stuff myself.
