How-Far-Back-Can-We-Go?-Third-Edition!-Ended-At-1487-Waiting-On-1486

For some odd reason, this date/design is NOT listed in the massive Krause world coin catalog.

Some really nice coins in this lot. I have a question about how far back can we go. Lets say we get to the year 1851, and right after midnight it is time for 1850, what is someone posts another 1851 before someone posts an 1850. Would we continue for another day on 1851?

I think Jbuck has posted this answer .... somewhere in the
113 pages.

With your question, you would be able to post 1851 coins
until someone posted a 1850. It would not lock in 1851
coins for another day. As we get to older coins it might
take days ... weeks or even longer to come up with a harder
year.

It looks like 1864 cents are popular today.

Why do I think that slab says mint error - struck on gold planchet?
