Great Britain 1799 farthing. This was the first British farthing to show the denomination - perhaps people had forgotten what farthings looked like, as none had been minted for 24 years!

We have made it into the 1700's! This is when it gets really interesting.

What should I do with Condor tokens? All in one post or in several posts?

Let's check the rule book. 8. To help page loads and scrolling, please put one coin (one or two photos) per post. So, separate posts is preferred. This keeps the pages from being picture heavy and easier to load for those on slower connections. The rules do suggest you to give time between posts to allow others to chime in... 7. One person should not create multiple posts for each year unless someone else has posted in between or you are posting coins as part of a set (like a proof set, commemorative set, etc). However, as we get down to the years where we have fewer participants, I only ask everyone to exercise some discretion. That being said, I will no longer chastise those for making multiple back-to-back posts each year.

Quote: I will no longer chastise those for making multiple back-to-back posts each year. I like you. Your wisdom shall be rewarded. I have perhaps a dozen 1799 coins but most are not photographed, and hard to access. One of the nicer ones that isn't : - British halfpenny -

Looks like 1799 is a good year for this thread, especially compared to 1801 or 1803.

United States -- 1798/7 10 cents: (New digital images taken today) ------------------------------------------------ Here is a closeup of the overdate. This should be the final film image that I upload to CCF. (I haven't had a chance to do a replacement closeup shot, since they take a lot more effort with digital -- manual stacking, microscope objectives, tube lenses, Zerene Stacker, etc. etc.)
